Charlie Ridge - Director

Charlie began his heating and ventilation apprenticeship in 2008 and served 4 years through two large mechanical companies, Kylemore Services and Crown House Technologies.

After being time served he went on to self employed sole trading, where he worked for a high number of mechanical contractors doing various commercial plumbing and pipefitting contracts across all sectors working on prestigous projects in London such as Heathrow 2TA build, Bank of England, spring gardens, Jumeirah hotel, Grosvenor Park Lane, also CAT A projects of iconic buildings - The cheesegrater, tower 42, the Gherkin, 100 Bishopsgate.

During that time also supervising and being a lead on projects for a small team of installers.

In 2021 he went overseas and worked in Canada and for the majority of the time he was a Journeyman plumber for a leading north american mechanical contractor Ocean Park Mechanical basing his work in Vancouver.

He then returned to take an opportunity to work in the Netherlands in January 2023 where he Supervised and lead the team to deliver their first Plumbing contract on a data centre in Europe.

January 2024 Charlie has now put together all the tools and experience and past connections of the last 15 years to start up Ridge Mech Ltd to provide experienced and quality services to the Mechanical industry.
